TRAVERSE CITY -- The 2012 Relay for Life in Grand Traverse County might be a few months away but now is the time for people to start thinking about forming teams for the upcoming cancer walk. The dates for the walk are June 9th and 10th at the Civic Center in Traverse City.
This year's Relay for Life theme is: "Carnival for a Cure" and organizers hope to raise $82,000 with at least 50 teams and 150 survivors.
The kick off date for the walk will be January 31st at 6 p.m. at Traverse City High School on Three Mile Road. For more information about this year's event click here.
