Every once in awhile in our lives, we come across miracles; things that happen that defy logic, that we can't explain, and that science says shouldn't happen, but they do.
A few weeks ago, we asked on our Facebook page, if anyone had ever seen such a miracle. As it turns out, one of viewers says she sees a miracle everyday, in the form of her daughter.
On the day she was born the doctors said she might not survive an hour. She was born with no heartbeat, and not breathing for the 8 minutes of her life. She suffered a series of 5 strokes, one of which was so severe it severed her spine. But she started breathing, and made it past the first hour. A few days later, they gave her mother the choice to pull the ventilator that was breathing for the 2 pound baby who might forever be in a "vegetative state", blind, deaf, and severally limited. The mother wasn't ready to give up on tiny Hannah...and Hannah had only begun her fight to prove that she is a miracle among us.
