A religious based organization's lunch-hour meetings with students is raising questions in Petoskey.

A northern Michigan school district has decided not to allow a religious-based organization to come into their schools during the lunch hour.

The Christian based group is called Young Life and it's currently at more than 3-thousand high schools and middle schools around the country.  Young Life says its mission is to introduce teens to Jesus and help them grow their faith.

Petoskey Public Schools Superintendent, John Scholten says the group told him they would respect the Separation of Church and State -and so far there haven't been any problems.  Some parents, however, came to the district with concerns.   Petoskey school leaders are now reviewing their policies before opening the door to any organization to come onto school property.

Do you think a religious based organization such as Young Life should be able to meet with students during school hours?  Tell us "Your Point of View" by voting in the poll below and leaving your comments.
