How to keep your child safe this Halloween
It's almost Halloween. It's time for tricks, treats and fun! Before you set you're little monster loose we have a few safety tips to keep your Halloween a happy one!
If your youngsters are going out trick or treating if they're really young then we of course want the parents with them. If they're of an age when they're going to go out and trick or treat with friends we would want them to go with a group of friends.
Be sure to check out your city or town's halloween curfew and if possible stick to a neighborhood that you and your child are familiar with.
Be careful with traffic, carry a flashlight with them. Wear bright or reflective type clothing use face paints instead of masks where you can't see out so well
More pedestrians and foot traffic can mean a greater chance for accidents.
Be careful with the walking after dark and make sure that they aren't running across the streets or those type of things. Cross out the intersections and watch for cars and make sure that everyone is watching everybody else.
Before you and your child start working on a sugar rush, check your treats.
Make sure that everything is wrapped the way it's suppose to be and if there's anything that's suspicious what so ever just throw it away there will probably be many other treats there.
