A man who police say robbed an upper peninsula bank while his wife and toddler waited in the getaway car has ties to Cheboygan County.

The Northern Michigan Bank & Trust branch in Harvey, outside Marquette, was robbed Oct. 12.

Justin McLean's wife told the FBI she thought her husband was going into a McDonald's restaurant next to the bank when the robbery took place.

McLean, 29, was arrested in Wyoming Saturday on a fugitive from justice charge.  He failed to appear for a larceny trial Oct. 11 in Cheboygan County.

McLean is expected to return to Michigan on a federal bank robbery charge.
