Timothy McNitt will spend 11 months in jail
EMMET CO., MI -- A former Pellston volleyball coach and middle school teacher was sentenced in Emmet County Circuit Court for committing sex crimes against students.
Timothy McNitt has been sentenced to 11 months in county jail. As part of the sentence, he will be listed on the sex offender registry, must complete 500-hours of community service, and must pay $3,800 for counseling for the victims.
McNitt pleaded guilty for criminal sexual conduct in the second degree for sexual contact involving two females between the ages of 13 and 16.
