The American Red Cross is asking you to step up and donate blood and platelets as soon as possible.
The Great Lakes Region of the American Red Cross needs to collect approximately 700 units of blood each and every day.
However not enough people are giving blood and local supplies are very limited right now.
Anyone who is eligible to donate blood is asked to do so -- as soon as possible.
