CADILLAC, MI -- Last week, a group of soldiers was given a call to duty ceremony in Cadillac.

When soldiers are deployed overseas, their loved ones are left with the daunting task of holding down the home. For many, that means taking care of their kids all alone. Fortunately, there is a program designed to help.

"We get together to put on events for the families while their soldiers are deployed, we reach out in to the community to get items for care packages and donations for meals," said Family Readiness Group organizer Kim Zeeryp.
