BOYNE MOUNTAIN -- The dip in temperature means one thing; snow will be flying soon.

Saturday at Boyne Mountain, they will welcome the snow with a very special speaker.

Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and nine-time X-Games champion Seth Wescott will be the featured speaker at the Boyne Mountain "Snowsports Summit" Saturday.

Wescott most recently took home a gold for "snowboard cross" from the Vancouver Winter Olympics and says his message will be about his journey to the top.

"It's not going to be easy to get there, it will take a lot of hard work, and that if, perserverance is key, and if you keep plugging away, you can make things happen over time," said Wescott.

Wescott will speak at Boyne Mountain's Civic Center Saturday morning at 10 am.

Following Wescott, the "Skitoberfest" activities will begin, which includes a food tasting tent and even snow trucked in for the "Rail Jam."
