TRAVERSE CITY -- The Northern Michigan AIDS Walk kicked into high gear Sunday afternoon.

Now in it's 7th year, the walk raises money to support Munson Medical Center's Thomas Judd Care Center.

Hundreds showed up at Medalie Park in Traverse City, ready to get some exercise and help fight this deadly disease.

Organizers say it's a special event because all the money collected stays local.  It goes to the Angel Fund, which covers expenses for clients in the surrounding area.
