Collection appointments all full for next week
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY -- The Grand Traverse County Resource Recovery Department says all its appointments for the annual Household Hazardous Waste & Pesticide collection on Thursday, September 29th are full.
The service is held every year and is free to county residents.
Accepted material includes oil based paints, automobile fluids, cleaning products, pesticides, mercury, moth balls, pool chemicals and more.
The Resource Recovery Department says if you missed out on this collection there are still plenty of options to dispose of household hazardous waste.
