Now it's important to note that House Bill 4936 does propose establishing a fee schedule for medical providers; in other words a maximum price they can charge an insurance company for a service. Representative Lund says that will lower the costs of a benefit. But while opponents of the bill say that would help, they contend it wouldn't come close to stretching a quarter of a million dollars over a lifetime.
So what do you think? Is is time to do away with the lifetime medical benefits in order to save cash now on car insurance rates? What level would you choose if you could?
