REED CITY -- An Osceola County community is mourning the loss of a teacher.
Reed City High School teacher Angie Pontz was in an accident Tuesday on her way home for lunch. She died from her injuries Wednesday at a hospital in Grand Rapids.
Pontz taught Language Arts at the high school for eight years. Crisis counselors are at the school helping students and staff deal with the loss.
