Cash and cigarettes stolen

GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY -- Investigators are searching for a suspect who they say robbed a Grand Traverse County gas station early this morning.

The Sheriff's office says the suspect walked into the Cherry Knoll Gas Station around 5 am this morning and asked for cash and Newport cigarettes

The suspect is described as a black male, 30-40 years old, 5'9" 140-150 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap possible with a red brim, gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

An unknown amount of money was taken along with 23 packages of cigarettes.
