TRAVERSE CITY -- A new kind of daycare is now available for the first time in northern Michigan.

The House of Angels gives families a safe place to take disabled children and adults.  The House of Angels held its grand opening Thursday.

There is a staff of 8 full-time Certified Health Aides as well as supervising nurses at the House of Angels.  The daycare center is open seven days a week to serve families in the area.

"It's a respite program where you can do anywhere from two hours a day up to 24 hours a day," explained Angie Ayers, owner of the House of Angels.

The House of Angels is a new branch of In-Home Health Care Services, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary Thursday.   The House of Angels is located at 5100 U.S. 31 South.  You can reach them by calling 231-421-3912 or by email: angels@ihhcsi.com
