Some people in northern Michigan are reporting they felt the earthquake that took place Tuesday afternoon in Virginia.
The U.S. Geological Survey upgraded the earthquake near Mineral, Va., to a preliminary magnitude of 5.9. The earthquake prompted an evacuation of the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol.
