PESHAWBESTOWN, MI -- A traditional Pow Wow was hosted in Peshawbestown over the weekend.

Beautiful weather made for a successful closing day. The final Grand Entry was held on Sunday at noon.

Every year, the event takes place on the third weekend of August.

Those who participated in this year’s Pow Wow said it allows them to celebrate Native American tradition while reuniting with friends and family.

The celebration is put on by the Grand Travers Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
