GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY -- Attention pet owners: have you noticed your dog or cat constantly scratching or itching? There could a be reason behind this and during Pet Talk on 7&4 News Today, Dr. Jen Klabunde explained what pet owners need to know all to keep their four legged friends healthy and happy.
Here is a list of some of the possible reasons why your pet might be itching:
- parasites (fleas, mites)
- allergies (inhaled allergies, contact allergies, or flea allergies)
- boredom or stress
- skin disease
