(AP) -- The Postal Service is considering shutting down more than 1 in 10 of its retail outlets.
The agency says it's going to study more than 3,600 local offices, branches and stations for possible closing.
But many could be replaced by what are called Village Post Offices, in which postal services are offered in local stores, libraries or government offices.
