PETOSKEY -- Northern Michigan Regional Health System is looking at entering a new partnership.
The Petoskey-based system is in talks with a hospital in Flint called McLaren Health Care.
The process to evaluate a relationship started this week with a letter of intent.
The President and CEO of NMRHS Reezie Devet says she hopes to have talks wrapped up in about 4 months. She also says northern Michigan would benefit from Mclaren's financial strength and sharing of clinical expertise.
