PETOSKEY, MI -- While the economy hasn't been great to some business owners, we've found one Petoskey man who has opened three businesses since 2007 and his latest, a Biggby Coffee in Petoskey.
The coffee shop opened in the Petoskey Meijer to be the second in the north along with Gaylord's shop, and Nick Spadafore says his opened businesses have been a success.
"The plan was to have three Biggby's in five years when we made the journey north from East Lansing, but my wife had something to say about that, so we bought her a hair salon that was for sale, so two Biggby's and a hair salon," says Spadafore.
The new Biggby started making drinks earlier this week and Spadafore says he's keeping Northern Michigan busy.
Between his three businesses, he and his wife employee 37 people.
