GAYLORD, MI -- Final preparations are underway for Gaylord's 47th Annual Alpenfest.
The week full of festivities kicks off tonight and runs through the weekend and organizers say they couldn't ask for a better weather forecast.
This year, there will be several venders, a carnival, and lots of other family fun activities.
Organizers say the purchase of an Alpenfest Pin is the ticket to everything.
"Three dollars, and that gets you into all of the food events for free, the only thing we charge an extra three dollars is the pulled pork dinner tomorrow night, but everything else is free. You can eat all week, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, on that three dollar pin," said Gayla Lamberies, Alpenfest Special Events Coordinator.
And don't forget the annual "Burning of the Boogg" that takes place this evening.
People put their worries on a piece of paper and burn it away Tuesday night to kick off the festival.
