TRAVERSE CITY -- Before Governor Rick Snyder hit the streets for Traverse City's most famous parade, 7&4 News got the opportunity to sit down one-on-one with him at the Park Place Hotel.
We asked him a series of hard-hitting questions, but first we wanted to know what he values most about northern Michigan.
Governor Rick Snyder says, “The people… It’s just a great group of talented people here and then beyond that all you have to do is look out the window of where were sitting right now… this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. So it’s really a combination of talented people, great natural resources – and tourism can be a part of that. It also allows a quality of life environment that I hope over time people realize they can come do business anywhere in the world by being in northern Michigan. ”
