Petoskey Police looking for help in hit and run

PETOSKEY, MI -- The Petoskey Department of Public Safety is looking for anyone who knows anything about a hit and run that happened last week.

Detective David Schultz tells us on Wednesday, June 27th, a vehicle drove into the center island, hit a light pole, and ran over a tree.  This happened at the corner of E. Mitchell Street and Lockwood Avenue.

Police gathered broken vehicle parts from the scene and they believe the vehicle may be an early-2000's Chevy Impala.
