Woman arrested in connection with two Oscoda Co. burglaries

OSCODA CO., MI -- An Oscoda County woman has been charged and is in jail for robbing two businesses at gunpoint in Elmer Township.

30 year-old Mary Beth Handrich is accused of entering two stores in the past week, holding up the clerk at gunpoint, and stealing money from the businesses.

Oscoda County Sheriff Kevin Grace tells 7&4 News she worked alone in the robberies, and nobody was injured in either of the incidents.

Handrich is due back in court on July 6th.
