TRAVERSE CITY -- Dozens of shop owners in downtown Traverse City pulled together to save the Cherryland Humane Society Saturday afternoon.
Kay’s and Toy Harbor spearheaded a fundraiser for the Cherryland Humane Society who is in danger of closing it's doors.
All day they urged folks to shop till they drop in downtown Traverse City for a great cause.
More than 30 shops participated and donated a portion of their sales to Cherryland Humane Society.
Kay's plans to donate 15% of all sales made on Saturday.
