HARBOR SPRINGS -- An investigation is underway in Emmet County after someone caused $50,000 in damage to a building at Boyne Highlands.

Deputies were called to the 5 Heather comfort station at Boyne Highlands early Saturday morning.  

Sheriff Wallin said the incident is shocking and senseless, and hopes that someone will come forward with information leading to the arrest of the suspects. 

It is believed this crime took place between Friday at 10pm and Saturday 6:30am.  If you have any information pertaining to this incident you are encouraged to contact D/Sgt. J L Sumpter at (231) 439-8901.
