TRAVERSE CITY -- With high gas prices now is the time to experiment with new ways to get to work! Smart Commute Week is officially underway and events around Traverse City are helping to make it an easy transition.
Smart Commute is TART's largest and fastest growing program. Each June the organization hosts events encouraging people to find new modes of transportation; from carpooling and biking.
Traverse City's Smart Commute coincides with Smart Commute Week in Petoskey and Harbor Springs.
