Man arrested after ice cream blowup

TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Alpena police were called to a Dairy Queen Friday afternoon to help with an out of control person. Upon arrival, police made contact with the man, 18, and found that he was under the influence of narcotics.

Police said the man drove to Dairy Queen and busted out the windshield of the car he was driving. He later tried to break-in to the Dairy Queen, police said.

Officer arrived a short time later and transported the suspect to an area hospital. He was later arrested for Breaking and Entering and lodged at the Alpena County Jail.
