REMUS -- The search is on for a man who robbed a pharmacy at gunpoint in Mecosta County.

It happened around 1:10 p.m. Monday at the Remus Pharmacy in Wheatland Township.  The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office says the man walked into the store and demanded medication.  Schedule II narcotics were stolen.  The man showed a handgun during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white man, approx 25-35 yrs old, 6 ft tall with short dark facial hair and black rimmed square glasses. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and gray sweat/track pants with a black stripe down the legs.

If anyone has any information or saw a subject matching this description in the Remus area is asked to contact the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office at 231 592 0150.
