TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- The League of Women Voters of Michigan is making sure their voices are heard when it comes to political redistricting.

The group gathered at the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City Saturday afternoon for a community conversation on Redistricting. Political districts for congress, Michigan legislature and local offices are redrawn once every ten years. 2011 is a redistricting year.

The League of Women Voters of Michigan said the goal of today’s meeting was to gather answers to questions while voicing concerns over the redistricting process.
