TRAVERSE CITY -- Bargain hunters who love a good garage sale found plenty of deals this weekend. The Father Fred Foundation held its annual spring garage sale Saturday.
Thousands of people checked out thousands of items on sale which included everything from furniture and toys, to books, clothing, music and more!
This year shoppers had plenty to choose from, because of generous donations from the community.
Sue Bauer from the Father Fred Foundation says, "We just have had exceptional generosity form the community, and this morning eve though the weather wasn't all that swell we had a line of people, there was a stamped of people."
All the money raised will provide financial assistance for area families in need.
