TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Drivers could be in for some relief at the pump.

Analysts said gas pries may have peaked after spiking almost a dollar since January.

Currently, the national average is $3.98 a gallon. In Traverse City, the average was around $4.09 on Sunday. Experts said that price could dip 50 cents a gallon by June.

Falling demand in the United States and an increase in gasoline production are helping to bring down the price, analysts said.
