Crews battle a fire at Springfield Apartments in Manton
MANTON -- A fire investigation is underway in Wexford County, after an apartment complex is destroyed.
Crews were called to Springfield Apartments on N. Michigan Avenue in Manton around 3:00 a.m. Saturday.
The complex was built in 2004 and had 48 apartments. Published reports show about 8 families were living at the complex at the time of the fire.
The Fire Marshall is investigating the cause.
