TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- Hundreds of people flocked to the Great Wolf Lodge Sunday afternoon for some good food and to show support for the Women’s Resource Center in Traverse City.
Dozens of vendors were set up inside the Lodge’s conference room for the Taste of Grand Traverse fundraiser. People could purchase a $15 ticket at the door and sample all the flavors that Traverse City eateries have to offer.
The proceeds of the event benefit the Women’s Resource Center, which offers support to women who have suffered sexual or physical abuse. Each year, the center helps more than 2,200 women, organizers said.
