TRAVERSE CITY -- UPDATE: The jury has reached a verdict in the trial of a former school employee charged with sex crimes.  Michael Porter was found guilty on all 9 counts against him at 5:40 PM Thursday.

Michael Porter was working as the Chief Technology Officer for the Traverse Bay Intermediate School District when he was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a teenager as well possession and manufacturing child pornography.

Investigators took several computers, cell phones and other electrical devices from Porters home. Officials say the victim is not a TBA-ISD student and they do not believe any students were involved in the case.

Porter faces life in prison when he is sentenced on May 6.

He resigned from TBA-ISD on January 14.
