MACKINAC ISLAND -- The Mackinac Island City Commission has approved Shepler's Ferry's request to offer discounted rates. $3 coupons for people staying in hotels and $8 rates for groups of 50 or more.
Northern Ferry can offer the same deals if they choose.
Last week the new company, comprised of Arnold Transit and Star Line, was granted it's franchise.
Shepler's can also pursue its federal antitrust lawsuit against the city.
