CADILLAC, MI -- Summer is quickly approaching and the city of Cadillac wants to make sure all of the trash collected in city parks during the winter is cleaned up before the grass begins to green.
The City of Cadillac “Annual Parks Clean-up Day” will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 9:00am. This day is a chance for individuals, businesses, and organizations to contribute to their community by helping clean up our parks for the busy summer months. Some of the areas that will be cleaned up are Lakefront Park, City Park, Kenwood Heritage Park, Kenwood Beach, Blackburn Skate Park, Sound Garden, Clam River Greenway, Diggins Hill, White Pine Trail, and the bike paths.
Following the clean-up, eat lunch for volunteering at Kenwood Heritage Park.
Anyone interested in participating can call Tera at City Hall at (231)779-7377 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or by email at tveddler@cadillac-mi.net
