LELAND -- A Northern Michigan school district is using a high tech gadget to improve learning in the classroom.
3rd and 4th graders at Leland Public School are using iPads to help with a variety of subjects.
Teachers originally used them for reading and writing, but are finding that the technology is great for science and music too. Apps are picked out by teachers and run from free to 99-cents.
Funding comes from the voters who approved a $600,000 bond.
Do you think 3rd and 4th graders are a good age bracket to be using iPads in the classroom? Tell us "Your Point of View" by voting in the poll below and leaving your comments.
