TRAVERSE CITY -- The family of a missing Traverse City area man will mark the one year anniversary of his disappearance doing something he loved to do.

Jacob Cabinaw was last seen March 31, 2010 in Traverse City.  The 31 year old was a student at Northwestern Michigan College and served in the National Guard.

Sandra Cranson, Jacob's sister, says the family is planning on gathering to play frisbee golf, which is what Jacob was doing the day he disappeared.  Anyone is welcome to join them at Hickory Hills in Traverse City on March 31 at 5:00 PM.

The family was planning a vigil at the Open Space on April 1 but did not get an application request by the necessary deadline to city officials.  A vigil is now being planned at Traverse Bay United Methodist Church April 1 from 6-9 PM.
