TRAVERSE CITY -- A 51-year old Traverse City man is in jail after stealing items from a parked car in downtown Traverse City.
Police received a report of a person going through parked cars in a parking lot behind the Park Place Hotel on East State Street.
When officers arrived they found the man along with several witnesses. That's when police found stolen credits that the man took from a car in the parking lot along with a bicycle that did not belong to him.
The suspect was arrested and is currently in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
