MACKINAW CITY, MI -- In this age of auto-correct on computers, it's easy to correct a mis-spelled word.

But don't tell that to one local 10-year-old!

Marguerite Arbogast says forget the spell-check, just ask her.

The Mackinaw City fifth grader won the Knights of Columbus State Spelling Bee Competition.

She was crowned state-champion on March 5th in Standish.

She faced fourth, fifth, and sixth graders from across the state of Michigan.
