TRAVERSE CITY -- Small businesses have a major impact on the northern Michigan region. In fact, we rely on those businesses to help boost the local economy.
Four area businesses, Great Lakes Stainless, Comfort Keepers, Higher Grounds Trading Co., and Plascon Group were named to the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch list.
This is a program that celebrates second-stage entrepreneurs, or businesses with 10-99 employees. These are the types of companies that the chamber says are powerhouses for job creation.
