CADILLAC, MI -- A three million dollar plan is the works for major road in Wexford County.
The project will replace a stretch of road on Business US 131, which is Mitchell Street in Cadillac.
It will stretch from River to 13th Streets and includes new pavement, curbs, sidewalks and bridge deck replacement.
River Street will also be widened to provide left turns at a busy intersection.
The project is part of MDOT's five year plan for road improvements in the state.
