FAIRPLAIN TOWNSHIP -- The Montcalm County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two car accident that left three people seriously injured.

The sheriff's office says on Saturday night around 11 o'clock, 19 year old Michael Vickers from Rochester Hills was going northbound on M-66 near Dick Road in Fairplain Township.  Vickers lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and slid into the southbound path of a vehicle.  The driver of that vehicle was 32 year old Brandon Mulnix.

Vickers, Mulnix and a passenger in Vickers' vehicle, 21 year old Rebekah Kessler were all seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

The Montcalm County Sheriff's Office says icy road conditions played a factor in the crash.  Alcohol was not a factor and all three victims were wearing seatbelts.
