EAST JORDAN, MI -- Have a little fun while supporting East Jordan Public Schools Friday night.
The Family Fun Carnival is at East Jordan Elementary School.
We were there as they began the initial set-up.
The carnival is put on by the East Jordan Learning Alliance, and there are several different games, food, and yes, even a bounce house to make it a fun night.
Money earned from the carnival goes back into the schools.
"We give away $6,000 a year in that grant process as well as sending two seniors scholarships to worthy seniors which are $1,000 each," said East Jordan Learning Alliance President Amy Sherman.
Last year, the learning alliance raised $3,000.
This is the seventh year the carnival has helped raise funds.
It runs Friday night from 4:30 until 8:30 at East Jordan Elementary School.
