TRAVERSE CITY -- In November 2008, voters in Michigan legalized medical marijuana.  But since then, tons of questions have come up including how businesses should deal with employees who smoke.

This week there is a chance to get some of those questions answered.

The Employer Training Council will be presenting a workshop this Wednesday at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.

It will feature three experts discussing medical marijuana laws and how they impact employers.

We spoke with one of the presenters, Darryl Lesoski, M.D. who said, "We'll do questions and answers, hopefully preparing the employers.  Giving them the information they need to prepare themselves for the workplace."

In addition to addressing medical aspects, legal topics will be covered including how companies can set policies about smoking.

Over onehundred people have already registered, but spots are still available.  For more information, or to register for the workshop, click here.
