If you’re looking forward to another great snowshoe demo at Camp Daggett this Saturday, don't worry. Camp Daggett is happy to report that there’s plenty of snow on the trails at Camp Daggett. The 10PETOSKEY, MI -- th annual Torchlight Snowshoe Demo will be on Saturday, February 26 from 5 – 9 pm.
The course is a 1.5-mile loop, which will be lit with torches. It weaves through a meadow, past a nature pond, through upland hardwood stands and lowland conifers, and along Hemlock Creek. Snowshoes will be provided for families to try this winter sport. There is a reference map available, and hot cocoa and cookies will be provided in the main lodge. There will also be a raffle with tickets available to win merchandise from Bearcub Outfitters, and T-shirts will be available for purchase. Donations are accepted and all proceeds raised throughout the event will benefit Camp Daggett.
