FRANKFORT -- The 2011 Shiver by the River event continued Saturday in Frankfort.
The annual winter event brings out thousands of people each year to the shores of Lake Michigan.
Now in its third year, the main attraction is the two day Michigan Regional Sno Cross Snowmobile Races which are organized by Bay Racing and ISOC.
Owner of Bay Racing Rick Zenner says, "When we can race out in the street which your not supposed to be out in the street with a snowmobile so we let them race out in the street so that's a big part of it…the background, the river or the bay, its just a great view, can't beat it!"
The races wrap up Sunday afternoon.
