ANN ARBOR -- The Borders store in Traverse City will keep its doors open for business while the company reorganizes under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.

The company plans to close about 200 of its 642 stores over the next few weeks, including four in Michigan.

The stores slated to close in Michigan include: Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Grosse Point and Utica.

The Traverse City Borders store is not on the closure list.  It has been open since 1996 and employs more than 30 people.
